Lakadong turmeric powder from West Jaintia Hills is a highly sought after spice among health enthusiasts. The turmeric powder is made from turmeric plant, and is grown in the nutrient-rich soil of West Jaintia Hills in Meghalaya, India. This variety of turmeric is known for its high curcumin content, and has been used for centuries in Ayurvedic and other traditional medicinal systems. Lakadong turmeric powder has a deep, earthy flavor and a distinctive yellow-orange color. It is often used to flavor curries, soups, and other dishes, and is also mixed with honey and lemon to make a popular Ayurvedic healing drink.
